Wholegreen is a vegetarian and vegan restaurant, so if you are seeking plant-based, healthy dishes you will find them here in Anna Good’s café: sweet potato and lentil curry; root vegetable chowder with samphire; lavender and blueberry cake. Most importantly, you head to Church Street for the Wholegreen signature fresh juices, such as Green Monster juice made with cucumber, kale, spinach, lemon, green pepper and basil. Ms Good’s restaurant actually began life as a juice company, juicing the vegetables from her own garden, and growing in popularity whilst progressing from a farmer’s market stall to the pretty room in Letterkenny town. There are lots of lovely things to be discovered in the shop, so make up your mind whether today it is going to be a Buddha bowl (served in a wooden bowl!), or some vegan sushi, or lemon curd and apple, and you will all be all the better when heading home with a carrier of Wholegreen juices.
