If you want a better oyster po’boy sandwich than the one Niall Sabongi and his team serve in Temple Bar’s Seafood Bar, then you will have to take yourself all the way to New Orleans to even get close to the scrummy deliciousness delivered by this artful concoction of fried oyster with salad and spicy mayonnaise in a sourdough roll. Nailing the classic seafood dishes of the world is what Mr Sabongi and his crew do, and their aim is true: this is fantastic seafood cookery, from their array of Irish oysters to Lambay Island crab salad to the classic lobster roll, and pitch-perfect fish and chips. A great team bring fun and smiles to their work in this bright, corner room, and the Klaw beers are excellent. Sheer class.
