All the best places to eat, shop and stay in Ireland. A local guide to local places.

Jutarat and Conor’s Nightmarket has become one of the defining Ranelagh restaurants, and has already hauled in a truck load of awards, thanks to a simple determination to offer Dublin eaters the authentic tastes of Thai cooking. No other restaurant offers Nightmarket’s brilliant stew of funky, fishy, hot, spicy, sweet, soured and sensual dishes, and Jutarat’s cooking offers dishes that are mobbed with shallots, mint, kaffir lime, fish sauce, tamarind, lime, chilli and sweet basil, offering a mouth party in every bite. This is intoxicating cooking, and whilst you can enjoy chicken wings and green curry, Nightmarket offers the rare chance to taste the real rustic flavours of Chiang Mai and Hua Hin. Make sure to have a reservation before heading to D6, as the restaurant is always packed, so much so that they are now opening six days a week.
