Lough Inagh Lodge

All the best places to eat, shop and stay in Ireland. A local guide to local places.

“Every visitor is unique and important”.
In that little sentence, writtenby a friend after a visit to Lough Inagh Lodge, we can find the raison d’etre of what makes Lough Inagh Lodge tick, what makes it worth the detour: every visitor to the hotel “is unique and important”.
Maura O’Connor and her team specialise in making their guests feel welcome, and it wouldn’t be stretching it to say that they have dedicated their working lives to achieving an extraordinary level of contentment amongst their guests. Turning up to this gorgeous, other-wordly location and checking in to Lough Inagh Lodge is like greeting an old friend: it feels good to be back because you know they will do everything they can to make you feel good. So, get on the boots and hike the roads, hike the hills, get the boat and fish the loughs, and then come back to Lough Inagh and let the team make you feel “unique and important”. And then a fine dinner, a great night’s sleep, and tomorrow is the perfect day to do it all again. Lough Inagh is delightful, a special place, a place for the small things, for uniqueness, for importance.
