We need more cooks like Stanley Matthews. Cooks who cook with their heart, who don’t jump on the latest culinary bandwagon that pulls into town, cooks who respect and understand the tradition and culture of cooking and serving good food and making customers happy. Stanley and Maria know how to do these things, and they have done them successfully and happily for many years.
So, settle in for goat’s cheese and caramelised onion tart, and cod with a potato and roast garlic crust, or Stanley’s signature cocido, and then have pears in cider jelly, and some nice wines, and you will agree that we need more teams like Stanley and Maria.
