It has been an exciting journey for Johnnie McDowell and Laura Bradley who turned their pop-up into the excellent Indie Fude, nestled in a courtyard just off High Street and then moved to a brand new high street premises, and open a shop that would be a destination in the heart of Belfast, and is even more precious in the town of Comber out on the Ards Peninsula. All the best NI foods are here, chosen by a pair with a keen eye for the best. They have good local veg, all unwrapped of course, a meat counter with charcouterie from Derry to West Cork, a cheese ageing room, and good chocolate
If you don't live nearby, and let's face it, that's most of us, they do a super efficient hamper service – gifts with an ethical, local, environmental and delicious agenda.
