Choc O'Neill

All the best places to eat, shop and stay in Ireland. A local guide to local places.

Jamie and Beatrice are really fine chocolatiers, and their work has both an artistic and a conceptual verve that marks ChocOneill out from the crowd. Their ingredients are sourced with meticulous attention to detail, whether it is Irish honey or the best vanilla or a single bean chocolate, and those ingredients then meet exacting artistic standards, so everything from a simple truffle to the grooviest Easter egg will simply blow your mind. Their move to Longford hasn’t stopped them being stalwarts of the Naas Saturday markets, so east coasters can get their lovable chocolates there each week whilst folk in and around Aughnacliffe can visit the atelier to buy these pieces of edible art, but do phone in advance to let them know that you are coming.
