Bang Bang

All the best places to eat, shop and stay in Ireland. A local guide to local places.

Bang Bang is bloody brilliant. Think of every adjective you could apply to a subversive and smart piece of outsider art, which just also happens to be a place where they make brilliant food and great coffee, and Bang Bang is worthy of them all: eclectic; soulful; independent; maverick; rockin’; wicked. Brother and sister team Daniel and Grace are blessed with great taste everywhichway, so you might haul in here with just a good cup of Silverskin coffee on your mind, and find yourself leaving an hour later with some vintage threads and vinyl and the biggest bag of tasty goodies imaginable. Dan and Grace’s space is named after one of Dublin’s great characters, Thomas Bang Bang Dudley, and this singular store pays proper tribute to outsiders, and outsider art, and the subversive delight of being different. The heart of Dublin is through these doors.
