Aris Cafe & Wine Bar
The first time we came to Aris, our guest – a well-known and very experienced chef – used just one word to describe the spiced beef baguette he ordered: “Brilliant!” Add in a glass of a good Irish artisan ale from Dungarvan or Galway, and you have the perfect lunch, especially if you can sit at the tables outside and enjoy the beauty of lovely Asna Square, in one of the prettiest villages on the Wild Atlantic Way. “Food, Wine and Coffee” is what Aris offers, and the food mixes a breakfast menu with an array of soups, sandwiches and savouries along with a pizza selection, some pasta dishes, and a small selection of sharing boards. Both the ground floor room and the cute, funky upstairs space are comfortable and cocooning, so settle in for a pulled pork sourdough baguette with a glass of Domaine de Millet, or a classic Margherita pizza with a cool bottle of Peroni.
