Lough Bishop Trailer

The first photo, right is of an American family from Chicago enjoying a Gathering holiday, and staying in Lough Bishop House. The trailer was purchased late summer last year, and the Kellys use it for farm tours for their B&B guests. "It has proved to be a great way to get people close to the animals. Seeing our Irish Moiled bull (Tiny Tim!) up close from the safety of the trailer is a great thrill. For some people, being out in the middle of a field is something they have never done before.... the things we take for granted."  Lough Bishop House

Craft Beer in a Book

Best of luck to Caroline of Bibliocook and Kristin of Edible Ireland with their plans for a new book on all aspects of Irish craft beer and cider, which will be published this autumn by New Island books. Craft beers and ciders have enjoyed unprecedented success over the last four years and it's time for a comprehensive and definitive guide to all those beautiful bottles.  Bibliocook    Edible Ireland
