All the best places to eat, shop and stay in Ireland. A local guide to local places.

Caroline and Joe don’t just run a lovely Bed & Breakfast here, in their comfortable house at the edge of the beautiful Curraghchase National Park. They also rear the most beautiful rare-breed pigs, and handsome beef cattle, and guess what’s for breakfast? That’s right: Curraghchase bacon, and sausages, and puddings, the taste of the farm eaten on the farm, which makes for what is one of the most unique breakfasts in Ireland. But that’s not all: Caroline has recently begun production of two excellent varieties of granola, super crunchy, nutty, natural, healthful ways to start the day. So, breakfast at Curraghchase features bread baked by Caroline, granola made by Caroline, and pork sausages, bacon and puddings made by Joe and Caroline. There is no other breakfast anywhere in Ireland like the Rigney’s Farm B&B breakfast.
