Nick and Anne Foley’s legendary restaurant is a benchmark of Kerry hospitality, thanks to generous, flavourful cooking that revolves around classic dishes, and warm, maternal service that you can never tire of. Nick has been cooking in Killorglin ever since 1978, so just consider what this chef has cooked and served and seen in all of those 35 years. It's been an amazing tenure at the stove, and a tenure in which Nick and Anne have never lost sight of the values that makes Nick's so special – comfort; affability; generosity; fun; and, above all, ageless cooking – sole on the bone; prawn and monkfish thermidor (who else makes thermidor these days?!); fillet steak garni; chicken with champ and a whiskey cream sauce. The service is terrific, and Nick's is a treasure, a place for the best of times.
