Mary and Eamonn Gleeson have been making time for their guests and customers for twenty five years.
It was in 1991 that Gleeson’s first opened the doors of their townhouse, in Roscommon town. Today, 25 years later, Mary and Eamonn preside over a restaurant, the townhouse, and an artisan food and wine shop, a mighty triumvirate of destinations that are the stars of Roscommon.
To master twenty five years in the hospitality business is a mighty, singular achievement, and Mr and Mrs Gleeson have served their county in the most profound and meaningful way. Their example has encouraged others, their work has brought visitors to the county and the town, and it’s no exaggeration to say that they are the county champions. They have done it by adhering to a fundamental mantra: in Gleeson’s, they make time for you. But not only do they do just that, they also make sure that time is special time, rewarding, and precious.
