Can you believe that the Blueberry Tearooms is heading steadily towards its 25th year in business. it was way back in 1993 that they first opened, and ever since then The Blueberry has been a place to enjoy delicious, true cooking, kindly service and – especially – Ruperta’s brilliant desserts. In fact, trying to decide which dessert you will have is the perfect definition of the agony of choice: the great chocolate steamed pudding? the blueberry pie? the Bailey’s and white chocolate cheesecake? the chocolate fudge cake? the blueberry and lemon muffins? So many delicious desserts, and so little time!
The savoury cooking is just as smart: braised steak with onions; smoked salmon quiche; beef brisket with parsnips; chicken with Swiss cheese on a floury bap. The room is always welcoming, the cooking always dedicated to deliciousness, and here’s to the 25th birthday celebrations!
