Autumn Megabites

This Megabites celebrates two great Irish culinary performances. Firstly, we have a video shot at Theatre of Food at Electric Picnic, which celebrates what was a simply extraordinary event over two-and-a-half days in a big field in County Laois. Secondly, we're already looking forward to Food on the Edge in Galway in October, when an unprecedented array of the world's greatest cooks will be intriguing and entertaining us over two days. And speaking of great cooks, our reviews span the work of Gearoid Lynch, Kevin Thornton and Karl Whelan. And every kitchen porter reading this, will find great inspiration in Gary O'Hanlon's tale of being a fifteen year old trainee in the Rosapenna Hotel in County Donegal, in his third installment of Kitchen Mechanics.
