- Congratulations to Sean Kelly of Kelly’s Butchers in Newport who, following on from a silver medal last year in the French Black Pudding Fraternity competition has this year won the coveted gold medal. Sean’s entry was a black pudding in the shape of a pint of stout! The man is a wizard.
- Fred Cordonnier has moved on from The Brown Bear in Kildare and will be cooking at Ballyfinn House, Mountrath, in County Laois.
- We love Caryna Camerino’s slogan for her artisan baking company, Caryna’s Cakes: “Lovin’ From The Oven!”. Wow! Bring it on! Especially that baked chocolate truffle cheesecake.
