Christmas is a time for plaudits as well as presents, and we hope these annual Megabites plaudits will also serve as Xmas presents for the people who have brought us so much pleasure and inspiration during 2012. As usual, we are looking for those whose work in the present is also helping to shape the future, and we are delighted to see that previous Megabites winners – Donal Doherty, Enda McEvoy, Jess Murphy, Bruno Coppola, to name just a few – are today regarded as pivotal movers and shakers.
